Your photos are out of this word, guys and gals! Even though I prefer pinks, lavenders, and whites for my yard, I find some of those deep rich colors fascinating --- even breath-taking. I think my husband would go for the ones with eyes! He likes contrasts.
Joylene Nicole is the most beautiful daylily I've ever seen. Even though I didn't want shades of orange in my yard, she made me buy her. She was my first daylily at this house, too. I'm amazed at her beauty everytime she blooms.

Here is an hemerocallis named in honor of my little girl who was born at 25 weeks of pregnancy and weighted 700 gr. (1 1/2 lbs). Mr. Harrison, from Hémérocalles de l'Isle, Ste Angèle de Laval, Québec, Canada, offered us to name one of his hybrid in honor of my daughter's birth. My husband chose the flower through all the hybrids Mr. Harrison had planned to register in 2004. By the way, my little Jennie is doing very well, she's a little miracle! The name of the hemerocallis is Jennie Hubert.

Re: eye candy
I twisted my husband's arm and got him to look at this thread and guess what! Dream Legacy is his favorite. I told you he likes contrast. He said, "Oh, wow!" when he saw this one.jay dee wrote:Dreamin' of daylilies, DREAM LEGACY - either a Salter or Stamile, shame on me for forgetting.

Oh my goodness.....I knew I should have looked in this thread....
...
.....
Hi Nathalie, and welcome to Hallson's!! You daylily named after your daughter is very pretty!! What a sweet thing!!
Jay-Dee.....I just highlighted that Cindy's Eye, and wrote down the AAT.....how big is that flower? In one of my catalog's, it says CE is 6 inchs.....I like them big!
Great pictures everyone.....Here for the last couple days I have been looking at iris's, and now you'll have me back at the daylily's.....but with not much money, and room, it should be too bad picking.....
Although the iris's will be much easier to fit in.

How nice all of these are, thanks for sharing the daylily and the story of your daughter Natalie23. This passed bloom season was the one I enjoyed our daylilies the most so far. I had concentrated on hosta for about 3 years and my wife came off of being secretary for 2 years at Louisville Area Daylily Society, so we kind of had some off time. As I say this passed bloom season I really could tell you why we love them so.
What a nice way to warm a winter evening. I tell you the daylilies in our yard look to be a bit anxious to grow this year, they are popping out all over.
