Oh noooo! I booked our company dinner the 28th b/c I thought that the get together was the 4th!

Hmmmm......I must devise an brilliant plan to change this. lol

Andrea - I'm sure you'll be receiving a call in the morning saying the restaurant was overbooked for the 28th & the person who took your reservation is no longer employed there. But the 4th is open.

Me too, Wanda. I've sent her another PM with the new date, but she hasn't picked it up yet. I know she'll check the forum as soon as she has the time and the internet connection.

I think I can pull it off this year. Tryouts for travel hockey aren't until 8/13. There's one camp, but it falls during the week so if I can increase the cash flow I can make it happen.
Can I bring my tent? Can I find my tent

I haven't used it in ages! I can bring a cucumber salad and a spring salad. Yes Beth...i'll have the Captain with me as well.

Jen: Maybe later this summer...I have been caring for my MIL with dementia (and a bad attitude) for 6 months now. After her next dr. appt. on July 11 she will be going into a nursing home (or Jeff & I and our dog Zeke will have to check ourselves into a psychiatric ward) hehe.

Gosh, I sure hope you can make it to Hallsons...it has been far too long since we had a chance to talk! I will be there if I have to crawl!!!

I'll have to miss another one. I have a crew of people coming to my house to build me a new porch, and the stipulation was for me to be there the whole time.

Well once again I will not be able to make it! The 4th was a great date for me, but I have to work both of the other dates that were considered. I know that yáll will have a blast. Jen don't let that Captain out of your sight or Brian will be finishing it off for you! I will miss the party, but alas I will be laughing to myself all day wondering about the shenagins that will be going on.

Hey Chris let me know if you will be doing another auction for the forums. I am sure that I can find something to donate!

I just heard from Robin and it looks like she will not be able to make it.

Her job overseas was supposed to be wrapped up by July 23rd, but she says it is now slated to go through til the end of the month. She said to tell everyone hello for her. We'll miss her!

Oh, no, Beth...it just won’t be the same without you and your dh! I’m not giving up hope on Robin yet...the timing of her jobs changes so fast perhaps she can wave her magic wand over all that paperwork and get here!!! Sure have missed hearing from her about her exciting travels!

Oh, Pat, I am so glad you will be also be able to come - you are so much fun! I don’t remember you owing me a hosta...do you remember why? Not that I would turn one down...just curious (hehe!).

I think we should declare an official Hallson’s Family Emergency...it is hard to have fun without ALL our hosta family! Then maybe those who “can’t” come will HAVE to come...“family emergencies” are a perfectly valid excuse to miss work, you know! If that won’t work, maybe a bribe will? Sickness works too, and I heard HHVX is running rampant through the country (HHVX - Hallson Happening Virus Xtreme) hehehehe

Hej......as little Pia would say!

I am trying to decide what to take to Chris and Brian's as far as food.....Last year I took that broccoli salad and it was gone, so I take it people liked it....I can do that again......let me know......and DJ says I have tried to take the carrot salad twice, and no one likes it....Brian for sure....I just want to make something that will be easy to take....Have I ever brought that pineapple salad? I love that, but I love the carrots, too......I could make it the night before......I can also take this rotinni salad my mom makes.....

Just what are people thinking about taking.....
