Very pretty! Is that a 'Fireball'? I thought it was, but the leaves and center of the flower petals appear different than mine! I love these flowers! I have another I'll post on a different post, but here's my 'Fireball'! Love them!

My red Lord Baltimore is up and blooming but even though it has tons of buds, the flowers are quite a bit smaller this year than last. The Japanese beetles have found it again, but have not skeletionized it yet. My white one, on the other hand had large, large blooms.

Jane these are in the memorial bed and about 2 1/2 feet tall tucked in the west side with the pink callalilies. I have three on this end and one on the other end. I have now cleared out that bed of early spring bloomers so these will show off.

wishiwere, we got these late last year when they went on sale. We have sprayed them with Messenger/Mighty plant food twice and once with over spray half strength Miracle Gro since that was the last of what I had and was using it on the lawn. I have just given them a little golf course lime and they are in 5 gallon pots sunk into the ground, these pots have holes drilled into the sides just in case I need to move them.
They are in full sun and the red ones bloomed before the pink ones. I just put bark chips & straw on the top of them during the winter months. This is the first year they have been in the ground. Hope this helps. I have babies seedlings so I'm excited to add more of these.

Ya all know how full my plate has been and those other problems that have cropped up to boot. Well I thought I have been good and would treat myself to a new flower and really am falling in love with the Perennials Hibicuses so I got . . . . . . . . .see photos!!! I'm thinking of taking out all the hostas in the front bed and mixing callalilies and Hibicuses like the east end of the bed??

Thanks for the info Karma!
One question about this move in teh front yard though? If you had hosta growing there, will there be enough sun for these type of beauties yet?
Here's my Kopper King I have, if you are thinking of adding another or more, I know Hallson's carried this or may yet
sorry this isn't the best pic, but it was shaded by a huge sunflower the birds put in!
