Re: Happy Mothers Day!
I didn't get a hosta, but I did get a beautiful flower arrangement.
Thanks for the Happy Mother's Day wish! That's a gorgeous L.S. Mom!

Re: Happy Mothers Day!
Sorry, I boasted about our Mothers Day trip to Hallson and am just now posting. Forgive me! we are in the process of moving and I just started a new round of chemo, so I am running a few days behind
I went with 4 out of my 5 children + hubby last Saturday morning, yes in the rain, Fortunately, we dodged the worst of it and just got drizzled on, In keeping with last years trip as the weather was the same
Gotta love Michigan weather!
I did not get as many pictures as last year, so much to see and I not at my best. Everything was so beautiful, with the fresh rain it is just breath taking! We all wanted one of everything!
This year I gave the kids my wish list and let them find and choose the Hosta they liked best. I really got a kick out of watching them find and choose their Hosta.
A HUGE hug to Chris for his patience!!! He walked about 10 miles, showed them a million Hosta, answered all their questions and explained why certain Hosta were not the best choice, Even though they had my list they found others that caught their eye that they wanted and asked about, I have NO idea where they get that
And a huge THANKS to Chris's Helper for potting our choices, showing the kids the chicks, chickens, chicken chalet, and for checking us out, he is a very sweet + patient man!
There was only one sad moment in my otherwise perfect Mothers Day, that was the news that my Carolina Sunshine is Virus X positive
it was such a great grower! Another THANK YOU to Chris for testing and looking at the leaves I brought for identification, What would we do with out Him!
Well, I am gonna shut up now and post my pictures, Enjoy! and Happy Belated Mothers Day to all!
(disclamer, Daughter Kayla gave me compost for the new beds, Daughter Kaycee was out of town and plans on going back with me after we move, did not want to hurt anyones feelings
Hubby paid for Chinese Buffet for everyone + promises to rototil the new beds!) All in all it was a GREAT DAY for everyone
