I'm so sorry, we had a bad hail storm 3 years ago. Believe me I know how you feel.

What can you do? Mother Nature can be really cruel at times. I'm so sorry for all the damage to your plants and the loss of your seed pods.

He almost lost almost all of his during the freeze over Easter but THANK YOU LORD - even though they are not very large yet, they all appear to have all made a come back, and are now in one of his new Hosta bed.....He's kept them watered well, and because they are in the shade are looking good. The few in the sun have completely burned up, even though they too have been watered. They are in a border in front of the Deck rail and this Spring when/if they do come back they will be moved to one of the 3 new beds in the shade also

Once again we are all SO VERY sorry this happened to you.

Don't despair, we've all been there before, and they will come back. Probably bigger and better than ever with all of that rain! (Is that about the lamest silver lining I could find - Sorry

)

This is definitely a big fear around here, since we depend on the hostas looking at least halfway good through the summer

So sorry it happened! I was so glad the hail missed us last week when it came through. So devastating to farmers and gardeners! Maybe they'll send up new leaves real quick after the rain though, as Chris said....Better than ever!
