I don't know that much about Hosta College except they have it somewhere every year & you guys are always talking about it, making those of us who can't go drool with envy.
So from your schedules I gather it covers more than just hostas?
What are these about?
Keep your dreams from becoming a nightmare
Bap Treflan discussion
crash grass class
And does anyone know about the new virus x test? Have you all discussed it before & I missed it?
Where is hosta college this time?

Hi Ellen,
Hosta college is in Piqua, Ohio every year about the same time.
The Hosta Virus X test strips are brand new. They just came out last week. We have some now to evaluate as soon as we have some hostas again, although I don't believe we have any HVX plants around any longer so I might just place a quick order from Holland and give them a go

Hi Chris;
Is there any way we could locate some of those strips and the proper name of them?
I haven't seen anything that resembles the Virus in my gardens, but I would like to start testing them just in case. Big move this year for all the hosta's in the back yard.
I'd like to dispose of anything carrying the problem before it spreads.
Thanks
Izzy

Does anyone besides me arrive on Friday afternoon? I think George arrives Friday. I absolutely HAVE TO get to the vending area as soon as possible. Last year, at 4:03p.m., I was blinded by bright yellows and soft spring greens and waxy blues. It was scary!
I know one can become snowblind! I've been there! But THIS is more like season-blind. From dirty whites and muck browns to oh, brilliant colour! And so many smiley faces! and blushed cheeks! (high blood pressure?) What a rush!
Too bad it only lasts until a week after I get home! Drying out the new babies (the hosta finder, a t-shirt and some new books, only, of course) takes a little longer and raises guilt levels exponentially to how many die on my windowsill. The ides of March, notwithstanding!
